Our semiconductor MEMS programmable solutions offer a rich feature set that enables customers to differentiate their products with higher performance, smaller size, lower power and better reliability. With more than 3 billion devices shipped, SiTime is changing the timing industry. A Senior Test Development Engineer is responsible for hardware and software test solution development for SiTime's precision timing devices. From the initial product development kick-off until end of life, the ATE Test Development Engineer will be responsible for defining ATE test hardware and software and supporting the launch of new products into high volume production. This includes board-level hardware design, algorithm development, software implementation and validation on both custom and standard automated test equipment (ATE) platforms. Responsible for development of robust test solution for SiTime's precision timing devices, taking into account quality, cost and time to market.
Set up, implementation, debug and optimization of test programs for automated testing.
Responsible NPI (New Product Introduction) test package transfer to production.
Lead yield enhancement and cost reduction projects.
Support other projects as needed by management or as business needs evolve.
Minimum BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. Minimum 5-10 years of related work experience. Knowledge of analog electronics and experience with board-level design and debug.
Experience in statistical analysis of test data.
Hands-on experience with electronics lab instrumentation. Prior experience with metrology systems for evaluating timing parameters is preferred but not required.
Excellent programming skills and prior experience with C++, experience with MATLAB and Python preferred but not required.
