Position Summary: The Quality Engineer II is a key member of the Quality Engineering (QE) team, responsible for developing a deep understanding of software functionalities to create effective testing strategies for software releases. This role involves gaining insights into interfacing applications, test environments, and utilizing Testing Services tools and methodologies. The Quality Engineer II will decompose business and technical requirements into test case scenarios and acceptance tests, define test data requirements, manage test case creation, and prepare contingency plans.
During testing events, the Quality Engineer II will develop test case execution plans, oversee execution, manage issues, and report metrics. The role requires leveraging both manual and automated testing tools and processes. Overtime work may be required as needed.
