Shape the utilities market of the future with us! We are looking for a motivated Junior Python Developer with a good foundation in Python and an understanding of backend web development using Django . The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with REST APIs, relational databases, background task processing, and containerized applications.
This role is suitable for someone at the beginning of their professional software development career who has strong fundamentals, enjoys learning, and is interested in building reliable and maintainable backend applications.
Develop and maintain backend applications using Python and Django .
Design and implement REST APIs , preferably using Django REST Framework (DRF).
Write basic to intermediate SQL queries and interact with relational databases.
Work with databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL through Django ORM.
Containerize and run applications using Docker .
Write clean, readable, reusable, and maintainable Python code.
Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards and development practices.
Has strong programming fundamentals and a willingness to learn.
Is comfortable asking questions and learning from more experienced developers.
Is interested in growing into a strong backend/software engineer.
Good understanding of Python fundamentals , including:
Data types and data structures
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Working with packages and virtual environments
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Django .
Familiarity with Django REST Framework (DRF) and REST API concepts.
Working knowledge of Docker , including:
Building Docker images
Basic understanding of Docker Compose
Basic knowledge of SQL , including:
Basic understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL .
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Has strong programming fundamentals and a willingness to learn.
Is comfortable asking questions and learning from more experienced developers.
Is interested in growing into a strong backend/software engineer.
