Role : Principal Solution Architect - SAP PPJob Overview : We are looking for an experienced Principal Solution Architect - SAP PP to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Production Planning https://jobeax.com/link/XnflZD2dGSZYgXFG Responsibilities : - Lead solution architecture, design, and implementation of SAP Production Planning (PP) solutions across manufacturing environments.- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solution designs aligned with business objectives.- Configure and optimize SAP PP functionalities, including demand management, material requirements planning (MRP), capacity planning, production orders, and shop-floor execution.- Design and implement end-to-end production planning processes, including discrete manufacturing and, where applicable, repetitive and process manufacturing.- Ensure seamless integration of SAP PP with SAP MM, SD, QM, PM, and FI/CO modules.- Collaborate with business stakeholders, process owners, functional consultants, and technical teams to define solution requirements and architecture.- Lead fit-gap analysis, solution blueprinting, functional design reviews, and architecture workshops.- Provide architectural guidance for SAP S/4HANA implementations, migrations, upgrades, and system enhancements.- Support master data design and governance for bills of materials (BOMs), work centers, routings, production versions, and material master data.- Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, planning accuracy, resource utilization, and inventory management through SAP solutions.- Oversee solution testing, including unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution.- Support deployment planning, cutover activities, go-live readiness, and post-implementation stabilization.- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, SAP best practices, security requirements, and documentation guidelines.- Troubleshoot complex production planning issues and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.- Mentor functional consultants and collaborate with project teams to ensure high-quality solution https://jobeax.com/link/SxaWoIptPtnP4xy1 Skills and Qualifications : - 8 - 12 years of overall experience in SAP implementation, configuration, solution design, and support.- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP Production Planning (SAP PP).- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC environments.- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, shop-floor operations, and supply chain workflows.- Experience in MRP, demand management, capacity planning, production orders, BOMs, routings, work centers, and production versions.- Strong knowledge of integration between SAP PP and SAP MM, SD, QM, PM, and FI/CO.- Experience in requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution blueprinting, functional specifications, and stakeholder management.- Experience in end-to-end SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, or transformation projects.- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable and sustainable SAP solutions.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership https://jobeax.com/link/Cexs453KRiH2S1rJ Qualifications : - Experience with SAP S/4HANA Production Planning and related manufacturing capabilities.- Exposure to SAP PP/DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling).- Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications and modern SAP architecture.- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, industrial, or other production-intensive industries.- SAP certification in Production Planning or SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and Agile project delivery practices.
