About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop original visual concepts from briefs, stories, and creative copy.
2. Create illustrations, sketches, compositions, and campaign artwork.
3. Build moodboards and explore multiple visual directions.
4. Translate abstract ideas into clear visual metaphors.
5. Create artwork for campaigns, social media, websites, packaging and brand communication.
6. Experiment with illustration, editorial art, collage, typography, photography and mixed media.
7. Work with content, design, brand and video teams.
8. Take projects through research, moodboard, sketch, visual exploration, and final artwork.
9. Contribute to the development of the Organization's overall visual language.
10. Use generative AI for exploration and production while maintaining originality and artistic control.

Skill(s) required

Adobe After Effects Adobe Illustrator Adobe InDesign Adobe Photoshop Figma MidJourney (GenAI) Procreate

Earn certifications in these skills

Other requirements

1. 0-2 years of experience. Fresh graduates with strong portfolios are encouraged to apply.

2. Education in Visual Communication, Communication Design, Illustration, Applied Arts, Fine Arts or a related field.

3. Strong illustration and drawing fundamentals.

4. Good understanding of composition, colour, typography, hierarchy and visual balance.

5. Ability to create original artwork rather than rely heavily on templates or stock imagery.

6. Strong visual-research and moodboarding ability.

7. Interest in art, advertising, editorial design, photography, cinema, fashion and contemporary culture.

8. Ability to explore multiple interpretations of the same idea.

9. Comfortable experimenting, receiving feedback and iterating quickly.
