About the job

Key responsibilities:

A. Video Editing:
1. Edit overhead flatlay footage into engaging 25-40-second vertical reels.
2. Sync voiceovers with visuals, refine pacing, and highlight product features.
3. Add captions, music, transitions, and consistent colour grading.
4. Deliver 7-10 reels per weekly shoot batch within 1-2 days.

B. Motion Graphics:
1. Add animated captions, feature chips, colour swatches, product callouts, transitions, and end cards to existing footage.
2. Use keyframes, masks, tracking and animation to highlight garment details.
3. Maintain visual hierarchy without distracting from the product or obscuring faces and existing titles.
4. Build reusable templates for faster, consistent editing.

C. Audio and Quality Control:
1. Source licensed music and sound effects, sync edits to beats, and balance audio for mobile playback.
2. Ensure consistent grading, typography, pacing and brand identity across videos.
3. Review exports for caption accuracy, audio quality, safe zones and visual continuity.

D. Content Delivery:
1. Adapt videos for Reels, Stories, ads and product pages in 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1 formats.
2. Maintain organised project files, assets and exports.
3. Collaborate with the content team during shoots when required.

E. AI-Assisted Production:
1. Use AI tools for transcription, voiceovers, image and video generation, upscaling, background clean-up, and editing automation.
2. Evaluate AI-generated assets for quality, realism and brand suitability.

Other requirements

1. 2–4 years of experience in video editing, preferably in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or product content.

2. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent editing software.

3. Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects or similar motion graphics tools.

4. Strong understanding of short-form storytelling, pacing, typography, colour grading, and sound design.

5. Experience editing voiceovers and syncing visuals to narration.

6. Familiarity with AI-powered video and image production tools.

7. Strong attention to detail, file organisation, and deadline management.

8. A portfolio showcasing 3–5 relevant vertical video edits.
