About the job

We're looking for a young Video Editor who is curious, creative, and wants to learn fast. You'll work across branded films, digital content, social media, documentaries, original content, and new formats. The role is not just about putting clips together. It's about understanding story, pacing, music, emotion, and what makes a film work. You'll get exposure to the entire process - from an initial idea and footage coming in to the final film going out.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Edit branded films, digital content, social videos, interviews, documentaries, and original content.
2. Apply a strong understanding of pacing, structure, music, sound, and visual storytelling.
3. Transform raw footage into compelling and engaging stories.
4. Create different versions and cut-downs for digital and social media platforms.
5. Work with footage from different types of shoots and production environments.
6. Collaborate with producers, creatives, directors, and clients throughout the editing process.
7. Work with motion graphics, titles, basic VFX, and other post-production elements as required.
8. Develop an understanding of colour, sound, and finishing.
9. Experiment with new editing styles, formats, and AI-led workflows.

1. 1–5 years of experience in editing, filmmaking, branded content, advertising, production, or related work.

2. Strong visual sense and understanding of storytelling.

3. Good instinct for pacing and understanding of what makes a scene work.

4. Curiosity and genuine interest in continuously improving editing and creative skills.

5. Ability to think creatively rather than simply follow instructions.

6. Ability to take ownership and figure things out independently.

7. Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where every project can be different.

8. Willingness to learn, experiment, and try new things.

9. Strong hunger to learn and grow.

10. Willingness to learn editing, storytelling, cinematography, production, AI, new formats, and how the business works.

11. Willingness to work alongside experienced filmmakers, producers, and creatives and learn how professional productions come together.

12. Interest in contributing to original content and IP, with opportunities to help create original work rather than only producing content for others.
