About the Role

We are looking for a creative and fast-paced Video Editor to join our social media team. The role involves working across multiple brands and industries , creating engaging short-form content for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and other digital platforms.

The ideal candidate understands social media trends, reel formats, pacing, storytelling and visual aesthetics and can turn raw footage into high-quality, engaging content quickly.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other short-form social content

• Create fast-paced, engaging and trend-driven edits suited to current social media formats

• Work on multiple brands simultaneously across different industries and visual styles

• Understand a creative brief and translate it into strong visual content

• Edit content from shoots, events, product shoots, lifestyle shoots, campaigns and creator/influencer content

• Handle colour correction and colour grading to maintain a premium visual finish

• Add music, sound effects, transitions, text, subtitles and other elements required for social content

• Maintain consistency with each client's brand guidelines and visual identity

• Keep up with Instagram/Reels trends, editing styles, transitions, audio trends and content formats

• Work closely with the Content, Social Media, Design and Production teams

• Take feedback positively and make quick revisions

• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment

• Ensure all final videos meet required quality, aspect ratio, resolution and platform specifications

Mandatory Skills

• 2–4 years of professional video editing experience

• Agency experience is mandatory

• Strong experience creating social media videos and Reels

• Adobe Creative Suite proficiency is mandatory

  • Adobe Premiere Pro

  • Adobe After Effects

  • Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator as required

• Strong understanding of short-form content and fast-paced editing

• Good knowledge of colour correction and colour grading

• Strong understanding of pacing, transitions, music and storytelling

• Ability to work on multiple brands and multiple projects simultaneously

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver quickly without compromising quality

• Strong eye for visual aesthetics, composition and detail

• Good understanding of current social media trends

Good to Have

• Motion graphics and animation

• After Effects expertise

• Basic VFX

• Advanced colour grading

• Experience editing brand films, campaigns, DVCs or commercial content

• Experience working with footage from professional cameras

• Basic understanding of sound design

• Knowledge of AI-assisted video editing tools
