About the job

As a Textile Designer at Kanchi Designs, you will play a pivotal role in creating innovative and visually stunning textiles that capture the essence of our brand. You will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge of Design Thinking to develop unique patterns, colors, and textures that resonate with our customers.

Key responsibilities:

1. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand market trends and consumer preferences
2. Conceptualizing and sketching textile designs that align with brand aesthetics and target audience
3. Conducting research on new materials, techniques, and technologies to enhance design capabilities
4. Creating mood boards and color palettes to guide the development of cohesive textile collections
5. Prototyping and testing designs to ensure quality and functionality meet customer expectations
6. Communicating with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure accurate production of textiles
7. Presenting design concepts to senior leadership and incorporating feedback to refine and finalize designs for production.
