GE HealthCare seeks a Test Automation Engineer to design and execute verification and validation strategies for PET-CT medical imaging systems. The role combines manual and automated testing across software, hardware, and system integration, emphasizing automation-driven methodologies in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement verification and validation strategies for PET-CT systems at multiple levels
• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automation frameworks for scalable testing
• Execute manual and automated testing using Selenium and Playwright; manage Docker-based test environments
• Analyze system failures, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed root cause analysis reports
• Collaborate with development, automation, and global teams to ensure end-to-end product quality

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent
• 3+ years of verification and validation experience in healthcare or medical device products
• Strong Python programming and automation framework development expertise
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and Playwright for test automation
• Docker experience for containerized test environments and Linux system knowledge
• Understanding of Software QA processes and Agile methodologies
• Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills
