Under this leadership, the company has built a strong network of industry contacts in India and globally, offering candidates exposure to international technologies and markets.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Surat. The Sales Engineer will actively engage with textile manufacturers to understand their production needs and recommend suitable machinery and technology solutions. Daily responsibilities include conducting product presentations and demonstrations, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and coordinating with international principals for technical clarifications and pricing. The role involves regular customer visits, relationship management, and follow-up on inquiries to convert them into sales opportunities. The Sales Engineer will also support installation and commissioning activities, gather market intelligence, and provide feedback to improve offerings and customer satisfaction.
Strong understanding of textile machinery, production processes, and related technologies, with the ability to translate technical features into business value for customers.
Sales and customer relationship skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and post-sales support in an industrial or B2B environment.
Organizational and planning abilities, including managing multiple client accounts, preparing proposals, and following structured sales processes.
Relevant engineering degree (e.g., Mechanical, Textile, or Industrial) or equivalent technical background; prior experience in textile machinery or industrial equipment is highly beneficial.
Comfort working on-site at customer locations, with willingness to travel within the region as needed.
Proficiency with standard office and communication tools (e.g., familiarity with CRM systems is an advantage.
