Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Technical Writer III to develop and manage technical publications for electron microscopy solutions in the life sciences sector. The role involves creating sophisticated content strategies, leading publication workflows, and collaborating across international teams to support customer learning and product integration.

Responsibilities

• Define content strategies and architecture for specialized, portfolio-level technical publications
• Conduct research and hands-on work to capture and synthesize source material for documentation
• Design customer-facing content using multimedia formats tailored to specific audiences and purposes
• Lead implementation of new publication workflows and processes at the local site
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve business processes and support strategic initiatives

Requirements

• BS/BA in writing or science-related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of technical writing experience
• Professional background in electron microscopy, life sciences, or related scientific field
• Proficiency with MadCap Flare, XML-based authoring tools, GitLab, HTML, and CSS
• Experience in Agile software development environments
• Demonstrated project leadership in cross-functional, international teams
• Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written
