Responsibilities
Design and maintain enterprise SQL Server database architectures, standards, and processes
Lead database administration, monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting, and production support activities
Implement data archival strategies, security controls, and performance optimization initiatives
Design, implement, and validate backup, recovery, and high-availability solutions
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to DBA team members
Requirements
10-15 years of database administration and SQL Server production environment experience
Expert-level SQL Server Administration, T-SQL, SSIS/SSRS, and performance tuning skills
Proficiency in backup/recovery, disaster recovery, high-availability solutions, and security
Advanced query optimization, execution plan analysis, and troubleshooting expertise
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline
Experience with Azure SQL Database/Managed Instance and PowerShell scripting preferred
Team leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management capabilities
