This role requires a hands-on understanding of data platforms, combined with the ability to manage end-to-end project delivery, client communication, and solution https://jobeax.com/link/mdp3TTvDfkZUCGGr Responsibilities:Project & Delivery Management:- Lead end-to-end project delivery across data engineering and analytics initiatives- Create detailed project plans, define milestones, and track execution- Conduct daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and status reporting- Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery aligned with client expectations- Manage risks, dependencies, and escalation handlingTechnical Leadership (Data Engineering Focus):- Demonstrate strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, data lakes, and BI ecosystems- Guide teams on data modelling concepts, performance optimization and scalability- Act as a bridge between engineering teams and business stakeholdersPre-Sales & Solutioning Support:- Collaborate with sales teams during RFP/RFI and proposal stages- Participate in client discussions, requirement discovery, and solution presentations- Prepare high-level solution architectures, effort estimations and delivery roadmaps- Support POCs, demos, and technical presentationsStakeholder & Communication Management:- Interface with clients, internal teams, and leadership- Ensure clear communication of project status, risks and mitigation plans- Drive client confidence through strong communication and delivery ownershipTeam Leadership:- Lead and mentor Data Architects, Tech/Project Leads, Data engineers, Data Analysts and Quality Engineers- Ensure adherence to Agile/Waterfall SDLC practices- Drive accountability, performance, and continuous improvementRequired Technical Skills:- Data & Databases: Strong working knowledge of any of the databases viz: MSSQL, MySQL, Azure SQL, Oracle (PL/SQL), PostgreSQL- ETL & Data Integration: Hands-on or strong conceptual expertise in Informatica or Talend or Databricks, Data Factory or Snowflake.- Cloud & Modern Data Stack: Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP.
