Trane Technologies is seeking an API Technical Lead who will play a critical role in enabling reliable, secure, and scalable API solutions across our global technology ecosystem. This position sits at the center of enterprise connectivity, ensuring seamless integration and communication between cloud platforms, enterprise applications, digital products, middleware solutions, and business-critical systems.
As an API Technical Lead, you will work with modern API management platforms, integration technologies, and event-driven architectures to build and support resilient, high-performing, and reusable API services that enable business growth and digital transformation. 8+ years of hands-on experience in API design, development, and enterprise integration delivery.
Proven experience as an API Platform Engineer, Integration Engineer, or similar role, with 7–10 years of experience in a development, engineering, or technical lead capacity.
Strong experience in designing, developing, securing, and managing APIs across on-premises, SaaS, cloud, and hybrid ecosystems.
Proven expertise in end-to-end API lifecycle delivery, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, publishing, and support of enterprise APIs.
Experience implementing scalable, secure, and reusable API solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.
