About the Role
As IT SecOps - System Engineer you will join our global IT SecOps practice based out of Noida, focusing on protection, detection and response. This role is responsible for safeguarding Barco's on‑premises and cloud environments, proactively mitigating vulnerabilities, and responding to security incidents. You will also work on security initiatives, collaborating across teams, and contributing to large-scale security projects.
Key Responsibilities
Vulnerability management operations and continuous improvement.
IT Security incident management.
Participating in a monthly rotational 24x7 standby roster to support critical incidents.
Drive security project rollout, including hands-on roll-out.
Drive continuous improvement and automation.
Creating, presenting and following up on the compliance & governance reports.
Maintain complete & up-to-date technical documentations, runbooks and process guides.
Ensuring global teams follow approved security procedures and best practices.
Education and Experience
B.Tech./B.E/M.Tech in computer science or equivalent stream.
Desired experience: range 8+ years in IT (Security) and familiar with various IT (Security) and SaaS based platforms.
Preferably holder of security certifications like Security+, Linux+, SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500, CEH, SSCP, GSEC, GCIH, GCIA, etc.
Competencies
Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Strong experience in vulnerability management coordination and hands-on experience.
Good experience in security incident handling, collating data, report creations, and strong coordination skills.
Good experience in any basic networking, IT Security, Operating System & Cloud platform.
Teamplayer.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken language.
Mindset towards security processes & compliance.
Nice to have: Prior experience working on various IT Security tools & SaaS based platform.
Nice to have: Scripting knowledge (Powershell), Python, KQL.
Nice to have: Basic Networking skills & corporate Firewall technology.
