Responsibilities

• Write automated tests and perform ad hoc testing throughout the development lifecycle.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test scripts for CGM software and systems.
• Contribute to software requirements and design specifications.
• Create verification and validation test plans, traceability matrices, and test reports.
• Record and track defects using the bug tracking system.
• Analyze test failures and collaborate with development teams to identify root causes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the release process.
• Support testing, deployment, and reporting on product performance, quality, security, and stability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and typically 1–3 years of related experience.
• 1–3 years of hands-on software development or software test development experience using Python or another object-oriented programming language.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience developing automated API tests and using automated testing frameworks, including Robot Framework.
• Understanding of API testing, microservices, and distributed systems in cloud environments.
• Experience with automated UI testing, cloud platforms such as Google Cloud or AWS, and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Five or more years of Agile development and test development experience is also stated in the posting.
• Medical device industry experience and familiarity with FDA design control processes are highly desired.
• Familiarity with Airflow, Dataflow, BigQuery, Kafka, performance testing, and cloud-based CI/CD is preferred.
