Job Description:
To independently carry out and coordinate pre-bid transmission-line survey activities for TBCB projects, including route assessment, alternative route analysis, crossing identification, RoW / forest assessment, preliminary tower spotting and PLS-CADD/GIS-based survey deliverables.



Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct reconnaissance and detailed transmission-line surveys independently.
• Study tender/RfP requirements and prepare route assessment and optimization.
• Evaluate alternative route alignments and identify major constraints.
• Identify and document railway, highway, river, transmission-line and other major crossings.
• Carry out RoW, forest, land, terrain and access-road assessment.
• Prepare preliminary tower spotting and tower schedules.
• Manage GPS/DGPS survey data, KML/KMZ and GIS data.
• Coordinate with field survey teams and independently verify critical locations.
• Prepare site photographs and photographic documentation.
• Identify major construction constraints and project risks.
• Prepare professional technical survey reports and pre-bid survey deliverables.
• Details survey and walkover survey

Required Skills and qualifications :

• Having experience in PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, ArcGIS / QGIS, Global Mapper, Google Earth Pro, MS Excel
• Qualification: B.E./B. Tech in Civil Engineering / Electrical Engineering
• Transmission-line reconnaissance & detailed survey
• Route alignment & optimization
• Tower spotting, GPS/DGPS, Google Earth / KMLs / KMZ, AutoCAD / Civil 3D
• GIS / Global Mapper / QGIS
