Responsibilities
Own end-to-end software verification for cloud services, mobile applications, and connected devices
Develop and maintain verification plans, protocols, and reports compliant with FDA and ISO standards
Design and implement scalable manual and automated testing strategies across functional, integration, system, and regression testing
Partner with product managers, architects, and developers to ensure requirements are testable and traceable
Mentor junior test engineers and drive continuous improvement in verification processes and automation coverage
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in software engineering or equivalent practical experience
10+ years of software verification and quality engineering experience
3+ years in medical device development under FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, IEC 62304
Strong expertise in medical device V&V, defect management, requirements traceability
Hands-on experience building scalable automation frameworks (PyTest, Playwright, Jest, REST Assured)
Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript for automation tools
Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills with collaborative mindset
