Our team is responsible for design, development, and operations of large-scale data systems operating at petabytes scale. We focus on real-time indexing pipelines, web crawling, streaming analytics, distributed machine learning infrastructure. Drive architecture, design, development, operation and documentation of large scale services.
Build, test and deploy cutting edge solutions at scale, impacting associates of Walmart worldwide.
Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.
Drive the success of the implementation by applying technical skills, to design and build enhanced processes and technical solutions in support of strategic initiatives.
QCD (Quality, Cost & Delivery). B.Tech. / B.E. / S. in Computer Science
10 - 14 years of experience in design and development of highly-scalable applications and platform development in product based companies or R&D divisions.
Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design patterns.
7+ of years hands-on experience building full stack applications using - Java, Springboot, Microservices
5+ years of experience in systems design, algorithms, and distributed systems.
Designing, developing, constructing, installing, testing and maintaining the complete data management & processing systems
Experience working with big data and ETL development
3-5 years of experience in big data analytics technologies like Spark/Spark streaming, , Kafka streaming, Elasticsearch, Bigquery etc.
Extensive years of experience in RDMBS/ NoSQL databases, Enterprise Messaging Application (Kafka) and Big data (Spark)
Hands-on experience in designing and implementing cloud-native Microservices
Architecture and related stacks using containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, etc.

Practioner of Agile methodologies and DevOps
Experience with performance testing tools e.g. Experience with Architectural patterns for High Availability, performance, Scale our Architecture, Disaster Recovery, Security Architecture.
Exposure to cloud infrastructures, such as Open Stack, Azure, GCP, or AWS
Strong engineering mindset who can drive design and development of automated monitoring, alerting and self healing system
Ability to balance the long-term 'big picture' and short term implications of design decisions.
