Stryker seeks a Staff Engineer in Gurugram to independently design, develop, and verify medical device components and systems. The role involves advanced prototyping, cross-functional collaboration, and mentoring others on engineering standards and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, and verify medical device components and subsystems independently
• Conduct advanced prototyping and testing; analyze and resolve complex design issues
• Author design inputs and specifications informed by customer needs and clinical procedures
• Lead creation of engineering documentation and mentor others on design controls and risk management
• Collaborate across R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and other functions to advance projects

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering
• 7–10 years of work experience in medical device or related engineering
• Strong technical ability in mechanical and electro-mechanical design with DFM principles
• Proficiency in engineering drawings, CAD modeling, GD&T, and CAE tools
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and design optimization
• Ability to communicate technical information to cross-functional teams
