Responsibilities
Research, design, develop, and verify medical device components and subsystems independently
Conduct advanced prototyping and testing; analyze and resolve complex design issues
Author design inputs and specifications informed by customer needs and clinical procedures
Lead creation of engineering documentation and mentor others on design controls and risk management
Collaborate across R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and other functions to advance projects
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering
7–10 years of work experience in medical device or related engineering
Strong technical ability in mechanical and electro-mechanical design with DFM principles
Proficiency in engineering drawings, CAD modeling, GD&T, and CAE tools
Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and design optimization
Ability to communicate technical information to cross-functional teams
