Sr QA Engineer - Salesforce in India, India

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our ECommerce technology team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of our Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) storefronts through rigorous manual testing across the full commerce journey - from browsing and checkout to order management and different APIs.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications
Execute manual functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing on SFCC (SFRA) based storefronts
Validate cross-browser and cross-device compatibility (desktop, mobile, tablet)
Test backend workflows, including Order Management System, Jobs, and third-party service integrations
Verify payment flows and gateway integrations (e.g., payment providers, tax, and shipping services)
Log, track, and manage defects through Jira, providing clear reproduction steps and severity assessment
Collaborate closely with developers and project managers to clarify requirements and validate fixes
Identify and communicate risk areas and edge cases proactively during the testing lifecycle

Requirements

• 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2–3 years on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) projects
• Solid understanding of ECommerce/retail business flows (browse, cart, checkout, order fulfillment)
• Experience testing jobs, services, and API-based integrations
• Strong skills in writing clear, structured test documentation
• Hands-on experience with Jira or similar defect-tracking tools
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Salesforce certification is advantageous (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator or B2C Commerce Developer)
• Basic exposure to test automation tools is advantageous (Selenium or similar)
