Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a senior manager for clinical data management to lead a small team supporting pharmaceutical and biotech clients. The role involves staff management, project oversight, quality assurance, and process development in a remote office-based setting.
Responsibilities
Manage and develop small team including hiring, performance evaluations, and professional development
Oversee project portfolio execution to ensure accuracy, timely delivery, and budget compliance
Allocate resources globally and report staffing strategies to senior leadership
Support implementation of operational and quality activities across studies and portfolios
Develop and implement data management processes, procedures, and training programs
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal academic/vocational qualification
8-14 years of relevant experience in clinical data management or related field
4+ years of direct leadership and team management responsibility
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Proficiency with regulatory guidelines, standard operating procedures, and data confidentiality
Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
Ability to motivate teams and delegate tasks effectively
