Danaher seeks a Senior SAP Basis Engineer to provide technical support and infrastructure management for SAP S4/HANA and BTP environments. The role involves systems administration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration in a global context, based in Pune, India.
Responsibilities
Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot SAP technical environment and underlying components
Manage SAP transport system scheduling and execution
Perform performance tuning and problem analysis for SAP instances
Support interfaced systems (C4C, Vertex, OpenText, ShipERP) and infrastructure
Lead independent projects, create runbooks, and engage stakeholders
Requirements
B.E/B.Tech in IT/CS or equivalent degree
7–9 years of relevant SAP technical experience
5+ years of SAP Basis administration
3+ years of S4 HANA and relational database experience
Knowledge of S4 HANA, Solution Manager, BTP, and HANA Studio
Infrastructure and architecture awareness (networking, virtualization, OS, middleware)
