Senior Associate Data Engineer role within Amgen's Global Supply Chain Analytics team, responsible for designing and implementing data solutions, ETL pipelines, and analytics platforms. The position requires strong expertise in big data technologies, cloud platforms, and data visualization to support supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain data solutions for collection, generation, and processing
Build and optimize data pipelines with ETL processes across systems using cloud platforms
Create metric dashboards and self-serve analytics using Tableau or Power BI
Develop data models, dictionaries, and documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency
Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and support data quality assessment
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5–8 years of IT or Information Systems experience
Hands-on experience with big data platforms such as Databricks, PySpark, and SparkSQL
Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with complex datasets
Experience with ETL tools and data modeling concepts preferred
