Responsibilities
~ Designing & Programming of Database for enhancing existing features to the Heckyl
applications and new initiatives taken up in the organization.
~ Second level coordination with client (mostly the technical and infrastructure team) to
configure Infrastructure required for deploying the Heckyl Application at client end.
~ Deploying & Configuring the Database components of the Heckyl Application at client end for:
Customized Features required by each client as per Contract.
Maintaining system, server and application security in compliance with the policies at
client end.
Monitoring the overall health of the various processes involved in the deployment to
ensure that the systems are up and running.
Monitoring and optimizing the performance at Heckyl and components deployed at client.
Provides in-house expertise and technical support to end-users on database and software-
related issues.
Support the company's Application, Database and Infrastructure Architecture.
Planning & implementing for backup and recovery of database.
Manages the implementation of database consolidations.
Backing up and restoring databases.
Ensuring availability of system storage and planning future storage requirements for the database system.
Planning, Setting up & deploying HA Solutions.
Must Have
Understanding of RDBMS Basics
3+ years' experience with sound knowledge of SQL database.
Knowledge of TSQL (Microsoft SQL Server) is an added advantage.
Exposure to SSIS or other ETL tools.
Nice-to-have
Good working knowledge of MS-Excel.
Exposure to Application & Database Design.
Hands-on Experience In a Product Company
Brokerage and/or Financial Industry exposure
Exposure to Mutual Funds Trading application
