SQL DBA/SQL Database Administrator in Rāniganj, India

Description We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing SQL databases, ensuring their performance, security, and availability.

Responsibilities
Manage and maintain SQL databases to ensure high availability and performance.
Optimize database queries and indexes for maximum efficiency.
Implement backup and recovery strategies for data protection.
Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions.
Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including updates and patching.

Skills and Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience as a SQL Database Administrator or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL Server, including T-SQL programming and database design.
• Strong understanding of database backup and recovery techniques.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries.
• Knowledge of database security practices and data protection regulations.
• Familiarity with database monitoring tools and techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
