Merck seeks a Data Analyst to manage data pipelines, perform descriptive and exploratory analysis, and develop Power BI reports that support business objectives. Responsibilities
Mine and analyze data from multiple sources to identify optimization and improvement opportunities
Develop, maintain, and deploy Power BI reports and applications for business stakeholders
Establish data processing rules through exploration and wrangling to support analytical needs
Conduct data profiling, standardization, and harmonization; query data to identify patterns and anomalies
Manage testing, validation, and quality assurance of analyses and insights with stakeholder collaboration
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technology field
3+ years of experience developing data pipelines, data analysis, data modeling, and Power BI infrastructure
Advanced proficiency in Power BI and demonstrated expertise in large-scale analytics enablement
Working knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and software engineering practices
Experience with distributed computing, databases, and cloud or on-premises environments
Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to deliver high-quality results
