Practice / Domain: Digital Experience, API Integration & Retail/Lubricants Ecosystem Role Summary & Context We are seeking a visionary Solution Architect to lead the architectural design and global rollout of a next generation Unified Experience and Orchestration Platform for Lubricants Ecosystem program global indirect channel initiative partnering with independent auto workshops, distributors, and internal teams. Currently, regional markets operate across fragmented backend systems (SAP ERP, Salesforce CRM, ServiceNow, and legacy dealer platforms), resulting in inconsistent workflows and disjointed user journeys. Key Responsibilities 1. Architectural Vision & MACH Design . Headless Experience Architecture: Design a decoupled, composable frontend architecture (React / https://jobeax.com/link/Z30sZYC3jcRenVso SPA) utilizing a unified Design System (WCAG 2.0 compliant) that eliminates i frames and system switching for Distributors, Workshops, and Internal client users.
. Backend for Frontend (BFF) & API Strategy: Architect a robust BFF and API Gateway layer (Azure API Management / Kong) that abstracts regional backend schema variations ("API drift") into a globally standardized contract for the UI.
. Hybrid Process Orchestration: Design the orchestration strategy balancing synchronous, low latency API orchestration with asynchronous event driven choreography using Camunda / Temporal and Apache Kafka / Azure Event Grid. 2. Enterprise Integration & Guardrail Governance . Stateless & Transient Enforcement: Strictly enforce architectural guardrails ensuring no new System of Record (SoR) is created, and no business logic is duplicated in the experience layer. Design short term caching strategies (e.g., Redis) for slow legacy ERP reads while ensuring real time write backs to authoritative sources.
. Heterogeneous System Connectivity: Define integration patterns across MuleSoft, Boomi, TIBCO, or SAP Integration Suite to seamlessly connect SAP ERP, Salesforce CRM, ServiceNow, Client Lubricants DB, and regional third party distributor systems.
. End to End Observability & Security: Implement enterprise security using Microsoft Entra ID (SSO, OAuth 2.0, RBAC) and establish end to end auditability via standardized correlation IDs across distributed transactions. Required Experience & Skills Architecture Patterns: Proven expertise in MACH Architecture (Microservices, API first, Cloud native, Headless), BFF (Backend for Frontend) patterns, Event Driven Architecture (EDA), and Domain Driven Design (DDD).
Frontend & UI Layer: Strong architectural understanding of React, https://jobeax.com/link/Z30sZYC3jcRenVso, or https://jobeax.com/link/tzGekrj9a8ToGEDv, Micro frontends, Single Page Applications (SPAs), enterprise Design Systems, and WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards.
Orchestration & BPM: Hands on experience architecting stateful/stateless workflows using Camunda (8/Zeebe), Temporal, or equivalent lightweight microservices orchestration engines.
Integration & Messaging: Deep expertise in API Gateways (Azure APIM, Kong), iPaaS/ESB platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, TIBCO, SAP Integration Suite), and event brokers (Apache Kafka, Azure Event Grid).
Backend & Caching: Proficiency in Java Spring Boot microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, and transient in memory caching (Redis) to mitigate legacy ERP latency.
Cloud, DevOps & IAM: Production experience with Kubernetes (AKS/EKS) or OpenShift on Azure or AWS, CI/CD pipelines, APM observability tools, and Microsoft Entra ID (OAuth2/OIDC/SSO). Overall Experience: 10+ years in Enterprise IT, with 5+ years as a Solution Architect designing large scale, multi market digital platforms and integration layers.
