Job Description
As a Quality Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our IoT solutions. Your expertise in testing will contribute to the overall success of our products, enhancing their functionality and user experience. You will work closely with our development teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring our applications meet the highest standards.
Responsibilities
Design and execute comprehensive test plans for web and mobile applications.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and user-acceptance testing.
Prepare detailed test cases and scenarios to cover various use cases.
Document and track defects, providing clear and concise reports.
Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve issues.
Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and tools.
Conduct performance and load testing to ensure optimal application performance.
Review and provide feedback on application designs and code.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Mentor and guide junior team members on testing techniques.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on web and mobile applications.
Proficiency in test case preparation and execution.
Experience with API testing tools and database validation is preferred.
Familiarity with test management and bug-tracking tools.
Knowledge of automation testing and IoT-based applications is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Passion for quality assurance and a commitment to continuous learning.
