About the job

We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and client-focused Software Testing and Implementation Engineer who will be responsible for implementing ERP modules for clients, ensuring successful product configuration and deployment, conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and supporting clients throughout the implementation process. The role requires a combination of software testing, ERP implementation, client coordination, troubleshooting, and training skills to ensure smooth adoption and successful implementation of our ERP solution.

Key Responsibilities:

A. ERP Implementation
1. Implement and configure various ERP modules according to client requirements.
2. Understand client processes and requirements and map them with the ERP system.
3. Coordinate with clients to collect required data, information, and implementation inputs.
4. Configure modules, workflows, settings, master data, and other required components.
5. Ensure all assigned ERP modules are implemented within the defined timeline.
6. Coordinate with the development and product teams for customization and client-specific requirements.
7. Monitor implementation progress and maintain proper implementation documentation.

B. User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
1. Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with clients after module implementation.
2. Prepare UAT scenarios, test cases, and checklists based on client requirements.
3. Demonstrate implemented modules and workflows to client users.
4. Identify, document, and report bugs, errors, and implementation gaps.
5. Coordinate with the development team to resolve reported issues.
6. Perform re-testing after fixes and ensure issues are successfully resolved.
7. Obtain client confirmation and ensure modules are ready for go-live.

C. Client Support & Query Resolution
1. Handle client queries related to ERP modules through calls, emails, ticketing systems, or other communication channels.
2. Troubleshoot functional and configuration-related issues faced by clients.
3. Guide clients on the correct usage of ERP modules and workflows.
4. Coordinate with internal teams for technical issues that require development or product support.
5. Provide timely updates to clients regarding reported issues and their resolutions.
6. Understand client feedback and requirements and communicate them to the product/development team.
7. Maintain positive client relationships throughout the implementation and post-implementation stages.

D. Training & Client Onboarding
1. Conduct ERP module training and onboarding sessions for client administrators, faculty, staff, and other users.
2. Explain module functionalities, workflows, and best practices to client users.
3. Prepare or maintain training materials, user guides, and implementation documentation.
4. Assist clients during the initial usage and adoption of the ERP system.
5. Ensure clients are comfortable and confident in using the implemented modules.

Effective Communication English Proficiency (Spoken) English Proficiency (Written) Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) ERP Implementation and Deployment Interpersonal skills MS-Excel MS-Office

Earn certifications in these skills

Other requirements

1. Basic understanding of software testing concepts (manual testing preferred).

2. Strong communication skills (English, Hindi, Marathi preferred).

3. Problem-solving and logical thinking.

4. Ability to handle queries patiently and professionally.

5. Knowledge of ERP systems or SaaS platforms is an advantage.

6. Familiarity with ticketing tools, reporting tools, or CRM is a plus.

7. Bachelor’s degree.

8. Prior experience in testing or customer support is preferred but not mandatory.

9. Freshers with a strong interest in testing and support can also apply.
