Linux Platform Software Team LeadAbout the Role : We are seeking applicants for a leading well established product engineering and software development company, a Linux Platform Software Team Lead to guide a team of Linux platform software engineers. This role is crucial for the design, development, and continuous enhancement of the Linux userspace platform for our next-generation connected security and access control products. You will be responsible for the Linux platform architecture, creating reusable system services, middleware, and microservices that serve as the foundation for multiple products. Team Leadership : - Lead and mentor a team of Linux Platform Software Engineers.2. Platform Architecture : - Design and maintain the Linux userspace architecture, developing reusable platform services and software components shared across multiple products.3. Platform Services : - Develop and maintain system services and microservices supporting configuration management, diagnostics, logging, security, OTA updates, cloud connectivity, event management, and rules processing.4. IPC & Integration : - Design and implement robust inter-process communication (IPC) using technologies such as D-Bus, gRPC, Unix Domain Sockets, shared memory, and message queues. Integrate platform services with embedded Linux, companion MCUs, cloud services, and product applications.5. Software Design & Development : - Develop modular, multithreaded, event-driven software with a strong focus on scalability, maintainability, performance, and reliability.6. Technical Leadership : - Provide technical leadership across hardware, BSP, application, cloud, and system architecture teams throughout the product lifecycle.7.
