As senior / Lead developer on innovation team will design and build Microservices, MCP
servers, and productize agentic AI capabilities that empower existing development teams across Life cycle collaboration products. You will create reusable frameworks, SDKs, policies, and integrations that enable secure, reliable, and measurable code generation, autonomous workflows, and retrieval-augmented solutions. Design, develop, modify, and implement software programming for products (both internal and external) with focus on surpassing customer expectations, on achieving high quality and on- time delivery. Responsible for ensuring the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanisms. Ability to understand complex products, solutions, and problems. Creates, documents, and executes software designs which may involve significant re-architecture of important systems, defining and coordinating implementation of wide-reaching impacts. Acts as Technical lead of major projects within one area of a product. Technical Lead in guiding junior engineers.
Essential Functions:
- Lead the design, implementation and maintenance of complex software modules and subsystems within the company EDA software suite
- Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define software requirements and specifications
- Architect scalable and efficient software solutions that address performance, reliability, and usability requirements
- Ensure each business problem is satisfied by a single technical solution
- Complete implementation strategy and get stakeholders agreements • Collaborate across projects and teams
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback and mentors team members / interns / students to foster a cutler of continuous learning and improvement
- Investigate and resolve technical issues reported by customers or identified during testing and validation activities
- Support for transition major U. S. customers from Teamcenter On premises to Teamcenter X cloud product
- Contribute to planning effort, provide accurate estimation of task
- Report accurate status to scrum master and help refine breakdown
- Keep project tools like git issue board, polarion-to-date
- Ensure product change like merge request includes unit test
- Maintain first time quality – no avoidable merge request rework
- Drive achievement of zero defects in delivered enhancements / features and no acceptance criteria failures
- Work to ensure there no regression in units / performance due to release node promotes
- Complete timely and accurate status updates to story / defect scraped
- Ensure escalation response – customer reported priority1 issues have daily update and one working week response cycle
- Adopt best practices while generating code using LLM (large language models)
- Ensure architecture consider best practices for microservice development
- Ensure architecture evaluates best programming language choice for enterprise level product implementation
- Ensure architecture makes appropriate decision for on-prem solution vs cloud platform like AWS, Azure, Google etc
- Ensure architecture includes AI based agentic framework while Design and maintain agent runtimes, secure function-calling, tool integrations, and orchestration patterns
- Ensure AI architecture direction, reference architectures, guardrails, and adoption roadmaps for engineering and products
- Ensure architecture includes Observability and Reliability: Instrument agentic services for metrics, logs, and traces; define SLIs/SLOs and operational runbooks.
- Advise senior stakeholders on AI opportunities, architecture, investment, dependencies, and risks, translating strategy into implementable plans
- Guide Select cloud, hybrid, or Local AI approaches based on data sensitivity, IP, residency, connectivity, latency, security, and cost
- Assess customer, domain, operational, and regulatory needs with product teams; determine where AI adds value and recommend an evidence-based approach.
- Guide suitable product AI opportunities from discovery through design, validation, release, and operation with product, systems, engineering, quality, cybersecurity, and operations teams.
- Define reusable product patterns for data, models, retrieval, inference, integration, and deployment across Local AI, hybrid, and cloud, aligned to product context.
- Establish risk-appropriate verification, human oversight, monitoring, updates, incident response, fallback, and rollback practices are followed
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Strong time management skills and the ability to be self-directed Experience with service-oriented architecture and web application/services development
- Experience with Object Oriented modern JavaScript Frameworks (Angular JS, Ember JS, Dojo, etc.)
- Experience with UI/UX design for complex workflows and/or for technical end users / domain experts
- Experience building complex, scalable, high-performance software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
- Active on Github or StackOverflow
- Comfortable with the Linux command line and Git
- Sharp analytical abilities and proven design skills
- Experience with distributed computing and enterprise-wide systems
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience leading and mentoring junior software engineers, and make them more effective, product software engineers
- Understanding of microservice development and best practices
Education and Experience Requirement:
- Typically requires eight to eleven years of experience and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices
- Knowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, Google) and experience in building microservices
- Agent Frameworks: Design and maintain agent runtimes, secure function-calling, tool integrations, and orchestration patterns.
- Developer Accelerators: Create SDKs, APIs, templates, and IDE extensions that enable code generation, test creation, and documentation synthesis.
- Enablement and Adoption: Pair with Product management onboard use cases, deliver workshops, playbooks, and office hours; remove blockers and ensure successful rollout.
- Quality and Safety: Implement error analysis, spec-driven development, and BDD-based testing; enforce guardrails, privacy, and policy compliance.
- Observability and Reliability: Instrument agentic services for metrics, logs, and traces; define SLIs/SLOs and operational runbooks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Dev ops, Platform Engineering, Security, and Product to deliver end-to-end outcomes and measurable ROI.
- Continuous Improvement: Capture feedback, iterate on accelerators, and publish reference architectures and best practices.
