About the job

You'll join our core team as a generalist engineer who's comfortable working across the stack. In a given week, you might ship a customer-facing feature, build an internal dashboard for the ops team, wire up a backend workflow, or dig into a data flow to fix something that's slowing us down. It's a good fit if you learn fast, enjoy variety, and want to see your code have a direct impact on a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement new modules and features end-to-end, from requirements to production, while maintaining and improving existing functionality.
2. Work across web and mobile to deliver responsive, fast interfaces that customers enjoy using.
3. Build internal dashboards, reports, and visualizations that help our product, operations, and marketing teams make better decisions.
4. Work on backend logic, integrate APIs, model data, and improve existing data flows as the work demands.
5. Fix bugs and troubleshoot issues across the product. Keeping existing systems reliable is as important as shipping new features.
6. Debug bottlenecks, design sensible data structures, and handle the edge cases that come with a real rental marketplace.
7. Work closely with product, operations, and business teams to understand problems and build practical solutions.

Other requirements

Required:

1. Strong problem-solving and logical thinking. You can break down an unclear problem and reason your way to a clean solution.

2. A solid foundation in JavaScript (ES6+) and core software engineering fundamentals.

3. Familiarity with web development concepts, APIs, asynchronous programming, and debugging.

4. Willingness to work full-stack and step beyond the frontend to take on backend work.

5. Ownership and craft. You write clean, maintainable code and take responsibility for what you ship.

6. Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift, and you figure things out as you go.

7. Side projects, internships, or open-source work that demonstrate your ability to build things.

Preferred:

1. Hands-on experience with React and/or React Native.

2. Exposure to Python and SQL.

3. Experience with Xano or similar no-code/low-code backend platforms.

4. Familiarity with Zoho or similar business automation tools.

5. Experience deploying applications or working with production systems.

6. Familiarity with AI-powered coding tools and agentic coding workflows, with the ability to review, debug, test, and improve AI-generated code.
