Medtronic seeks a Software DevOps Engineer II to administer and secure GitHub Enterprise Cloud across the enterprise. The role focuses on platform governance, identity management, automation, and compliance while supporting global development teams in a hybrid setup based in Hyderabad, India.

Responsibilities

• Administer GitHub Enterprise Cloud at enterprise, organization, and repository levels
• Establish and enforce platform governance standards including rulesets and branch protection
• Manage identity and access controls, SSO, provisioning, and privileged access administration
• Operate and secure GitHub Actions including runner management and workflow permissions
• Deploy GitHub Advanced Security capabilities and automate platform administration via APIs

Requirements

• 5+ years IT experience with Bachelor's in Engineering, MCA, or MSc
• Enterprise GitHub administration experience including policy hierarchy and repository governance
• Identity and access management expertise (SAML, OIDC, automated provisioning, PAM)
• GitHub Actions and Advanced Security administration experience
• Scripting proficiency in Python or PowerShell with GitHub REST and GraphQL APIs
• Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (preferred)
• GitHub certifications in Administration, Advanced Security, or Actions (preferred)
