As we expand customer deployments, we’re seeking an experienced SRE to deliver insights from massive-scale data in real time. Specifically, we’re searching for someone who has fresh ideas and a unique viewpoint, and who enjoys collaborating with a cross-functional team to develop real-world solutions and positive user experiences for every interaction.
Understanding project KPIs, SLI's, SLO's, MTTD, MTTR, Error budgets, Chaos engineering and eliminating TOILs by automation
Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health
Knowledge in handling incidents, participating in blameless postmortem, performing root cause analysis, and implementing post-incident reviews.
Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions
Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating for continual improvement
Implementing various development, testing, automation tools
Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs
Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
Understanding the business impact of reliability and performance issues.
Understanding of networking concepts, OSI, TCP/IP layers and protocols, as well as experience with network troubleshooting.
Managing Risk as an SRE
Essential Experience:
Fluent in spoken and written English
Flexible to work in cross function team
Experience of supporting live systems or other experience of working with and troubleshooting software in a business setting
Desirable Experience:
Financial markets knowledge
Experience of working in distributed systems – Linux, Windows
Experience in supporting Unix/Linux/Windows based application environments
Good knowledge of application support domain
Worked on/with System and Application Monitoring and Observability tools – Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace.
Experience with 3rd party tools Management.
Hands on experience in preparing PowerShell/Python/Shell script automation.
Exposure to latest SRE, Cloud, DevOps technologies. Also, Knowledge of Containers, Dockers, Kubernetes/OpenShift tools.
