Take on a new challenge and apply your **manufacturing leadership** expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a **dedicated and dynamic** team of professionals, driving innovation and excellence.

You'll play a pivotal role in leading and managing the manufacturing activities of our site while ensuring cohesion within a matrix organization. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with internal teams like Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Support Functions, as well as external stakeholders such as suppliers, customers, and statutory bodies, to ensure seamless operations and compliance with company policies.

You’ll specifically take care of deploying best practices for achieving world-class production and quality management, but also fostering a safe and inclusive work environment for all employees.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Leading and managing site manufacturing activities while maintaining site cohesion within a matrix organization.

  • Representing Alstom at the local level and maintaining constructive relations with social partners.

  • Ensuring compliance with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) regulations and Alstom’s Code of Ethics.

  • Driving continuous improvement through the deployment of Alstom Performance Systems (APSYS), lean manufacturing, and best-in-class supply chain operations.

  • Providing proactive support to projects to consistently achieve QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) commitments.

  • Coaching and developing employees, ensuring succession planning for key roles and fostering career growth for high-potential team members.

  • Implementing digital transformation practices aligned with Industry 4.0.

  • Managing risks, optimizing resources, and ensuring manpower efficiency targets are achieved.

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • A full-time BE/ME in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.

  • Significant industrial experience, with 20–24 years in manufacturing or industrial management.

  • Experience in QMS (Quality Management Systems), EMS (Environmental Management Systems), and industrial safety practices.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and their application in day-to-day operations.

  • Familiarity with high-voltage and low-voltage electrical products, railway industry norms, and certifications (an asset).

  • Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and decision-making abilities.

  • Proven ability to manage teams in multicultural and cross-functional environments.

  • Data-driven mindset with courage, rigor, and a customer-oriented approach.

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines.

  • Work with new security standards for rail signalling and manufacturing excellence.

  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues.

  • Contribute to innovative projects that shape the future of mobility.

  • Utilise our inclusive and collaborative working environment.

  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries.

  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning programs.

  • Progress towards leadership and strategic roles within the organization.

  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognizes your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension).

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
