1. Job Description  
   

The Shift Supervisor   is responsible for   managing   daily operations on the production floor   

• managing operators  – discipline, timeliness  
  

• ensur e all   defined   safe ty practices are followed  
  

• maintain the product quality  
  

• meet the   targeted   production   output  
  

• prepare   weekly and monthly   report s  
  

• C ommunicat e and   involve in   continuous improvement.  
  

• Must   possess   basic knowledge and understanding of production and quality processes.  
  

• Understanding of   Drawings and   technical documents, SOP’s.  
  

1. Key Responsibilities  
   

• Supervise and coordinate activities of shop floor during the shif t.  
  

• Conduct the morning toolbox meeting with technicians,   explain the specific tasks, Safety methods.  
  

• Ensure shift production targets are met in quality, quantity, and   safe practices are followed .  
  

• Monitor production   and clarify any doubts .  
  

• H andover   to the next shift properly the status  
  

• Train and coach operators for improved performance and safety practices.  
  

• Report equipment breakdowns and coordinate with maintenance for   timely   repair.  
  

• Maintain discipline and resolve minor grievances within the shift.  
  

• Support the implementation of 5S, Kaizen, and lean initiatives.  
  

• Participate in daily review meetings and escalate issues proactively.  
  

Qualification   and Experience  

Diploma  / Graduate   in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.  

3 to 5 years in production   setup..
