Ergomed seeks a Senior System/Cloud Engineer to lead IT infrastructure projects and cloud adoption initiatives. The role encompasses cloud architecture, Microsoft 365 administration, infrastructure automation, and team mentorship in a life-sciences organization supporting clinical research and pharmaceutical operations.
Responsibilities
Lead IT infrastructure projects aligned with business objectives and industry best practices
Direct cloud adoption, migration strategies, and hybrid cloud environment implementations
Implement and enforce cloud governance, compliance, security frameworks, and IT policies
Administer SharePoint Online and provide Tier 3 support for Microsoft 365 services
Mentor junior engineers and deliver technical training to IT team members
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5+ years of IT system engineering, cloud architecture, or equivalent experience
Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and infrastructure
Advanced SharePoint Online administration and Microsoft 365 integration experience
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
Strong automation and scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or similar languages
Deep understanding of networking, security protocols, VPNs, and firewall management
