Senior staff electrical engineer position in R&D focused on designing and improving hardware for surgical medical devices. Responsibilities
Lead projects and product lines from technical perspective across disciplines beyond electrical engineering
Translate customer and clinical requirements into system and electrical specifications during concept development
Drive ideation and feasibility assessment for new products, sensing technologies, and interventional innovations
Design, prototype, and validate electronics for proof-of-concept through schematic, layout, and testing
Collaborate with hardware, software, and design teams on system architecture, algorithms, and protocols
Requirements
12-14 years embedded systems and hardware design experience, preferably medical or safety-critical products
Proficiency in circuit design, PCB layout using Altium, Cadence, or Allegro tools
Hands-on expertise with test equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers
Knowledge of EMI/EMC testing, board bring-up, debugging, and mixed-signal design
Experience with motor control, DSP, FPGA, microcontroller systems, and power electronics
Bachelor's in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related Master's degree
Willingness to travel to US as needed, approximately 10% travel
