Merck seeks a Senior Specialist, Process Steward for Supply and Demand Planning in Hyderabad to serve as a business process expert supporting planning systems and digital capabilities. The role involves translating user needs into requirements, facilitating stakeholder alignment, and enabling adoption of planning solutions across global supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Discover, document, and manage supply and demand planning process needs and improvement opportunities
• Partner with stakeholders to identify user journeys, pain points, and translate business needs into requirements and user stories
• Facilitate alignment between business stakeholders and engineering teams on planning logic and process rules
• Support end-to-end planning ecosystem design including process flows, controls, and integration points
• Own business process documentation, training materials, and support deployment readiness and change adoption activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• 5–8 years experience in supply planning, demand planning, S&OP, or process stewardship
• Strong expertise in planning processes, business requirements definition, and operational sustainment
• Experience with cross-functional global teams across business, technology, and operations
• Knowledge of SAP, SAP IBP, Maestro, or similar advanced planning tools preferred
• Hands-on experience with supply chain systems deployments, hypercare, and sustainment
• Life sciences industry background preferred
