Merck seeks a Senior Specialist in Solution Architecture based in Hyderabad to drive strategic technology decisions and architecture governance for the Manufacturing Division. The role focuses on delivering scalable, reusable solutions aligned with digital strategy and business outcomes across manufacturing, supply chain, and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with peer architects to deliver value-centric designs for Manufacturing Division
  • Create and maintain documented architectures with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams
  • Advise on modern information architecture practices including APIs and system integration
  • Update and maintain Manufacturing Standard Architecture and Enterprise Capability Model
  • Prepare executive briefings and communicate complex technical topics to diverse audiences

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years in business, information, or systems architecture role
  • Deep experience in manufacturing, quality labs, supply chain, or site operations
  • Proven ability documenting business processes and technology alignment
  • Results-oriented with strong stakeholder partnership and communication skills
  • Prior pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
