Zimmer Biomet seeks a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to support software testing, verification, and validation activities in a regulated medical device environment. Responsibilities
Execute functional, integration, system, and regression testing across embedded, desktop, web, and cloud-based systems
Develop, review, and document test plans, test cases, protocols, and execution records
Support requirements review and maintain traceability between requirements, controls, and verification evidence
Test REST APIs and software interfaces, validating requests, responses, error handling, and status codes
Assist with defect tracking, documentation, retesting, and closure throughout the lifecycle
Requirements
Experience with web and application testing, UI defect identification, and software quality assessment
Familiarity with REST API testing using tools like Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI
Knowledge of Python and backend frameworks such as Flask or Django
Understanding of software development lifecycle processes and regulated quality systems
Experience with requirements traceability matrices and test documentation
Exposure to FDA regulations, IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and GAMP 5 frameworks
