Senior Software Engineer II (Java) in भारत

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction by selecting design patterns and frameworks and guiding adoption of tools and practices.
• Own the technical roadmap for a product or service, remove delivery blockers, and evaluate feasibility and ROI with product partners.
• Build clean, reusable, maintainable, and performant applications that work across platforms.
• Lead system architecture and design reviews and provide actionable code review feedback.
• Write automated unit, integration, acceptance, and performance tests supporting continuous integration pipelines.
• Diagnose root causes of data and system issues and implement permanent fixes.
• Mentor engineers across the software development process and guide prototypes, data validation, and user-story development.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as computer science, computer engineering, applied mathematics, or applied sciences, or equivalent experience.
• Strong Java and object-oriented development skills, including experience with web services and APIs.
• Solid SQL or relational database skills and understanding of modern cloud architecture and tools.
• Experience with automated testing, Git, and Agile development.
• Advanced proficiency with agentic AI tools in daily work.
• Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred experience with Spring, Spring Security, Spring Integration, Hibernate, JPA, microservices architecture, Angular, React, MS SQL Server, Redis, performance profiling, JVM tuning, and concurrency optimization.
