Stryker seeks a Senior Software Engineer specializing in computer vision and AI to research, develop, and deploy optimized vision models for real-time applications. The hybrid role in Gurugram focuses on bridging advanced research with production systems, handling object detection, classification, tracking, and segmentation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, benchmark, and adapt state-of-the-art vision architectures for real-world constraints
• Design, train, and fine-tune computer vision models for object detection, classification, tracking, and segmentation
• Architect data preprocessing, augmentation, and annotation workflows for complex visual datasets
• Optimize deep learning models for latency and throughput using TensorRT, ONNX Runtime, and model compression techniques
• Implement active learning and monitoring systems to detect data drift and production model failures

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science/Software Engineering with 5+ years experience, or Master's with 5+ years, or PhD with 2+ years
• 5+ years hands-on experience designing and training production computer vision models
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and solid OpenCV and NumPy knowledge
• Deep expertise in CNNs, Vision Transformers, and modern real-time detector architectures
• Proficiency in end-to-end MLOps practices and model optimization techniques
• Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration abilities
