Design and develop scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-based software solutions across the frontend and backend.
Analyze internal users’ use cases, requirements, and expectations and translate them into functional designs and implementations.
Lead major projects and program initiatives, participate in sprint planning, remove roadblocks, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
Provide software development, rollout, maintenance, and subject matter expertise throughout the software lifecycle.
Review other engineers’ code and provide feedback on quality, security, and best practices.
Mentor and guide junior software engineers and champion software development lifecycle best practices.
Participate in on-call rotations to triage production issues and recover services quickly.
Collaborate with senior and principal engineers to shape software direction, strategy, and technology selection.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent years of experience.
At least 7 years of coding experience building production-quality software in a team setting.
At least 3 years of experience building full stack cloud applications.
Strong experience with serverless RESTful APIs and API-driven system-to-system services.
Experience building reliable, secure, and scalable software across frontend and backend systems using cloud-based paradigms.
Experience with modern cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Extensive experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines; Azure DevOps experience is a plus.
Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Web Apps, Azure Storage accounts, Azure Kubernetes Service, and containerized application development is a plus.
Knowledge of Azure Networking, Azure Firewall, and Azure Key Vault is a plus.
Extensive experience with testing frameworks for React, https://jobeax.com/link/JSd7UYCSg572jJDY, and C#/.NET.
Willingness to complete ongoing training on privacy, compliance, and security topics.
