CleanStart is looking for experienced Senior Software Engineers to design and build scalable backend systems and microservices that power our core products. You will work on high-throughput, distributed systems, own critical components end-to-end, and collaborate closely with product, architecture, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, performant software. This role is suited for engineers who enjoy solving hard backend engineering problems and building systems that scale.
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Python (Django/FastAPI) and/or Node.js.
Architect scalable, fault-tolerant backend systems capable of handling high-throughput, low-latency workloads.
Build and manage event-driven architectures using Kafka for real-time data processing and inter-service communication.
Design and optimize data models across PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra, choosing the right data store for the right use case.
Implement caching strategies using Redis to improve system performance and reduce latency.
Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments on Kubernetes in collaboration with the DevOps team.
Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth, automated, and reliable deployments.
Mentor junior engineers and help raise the technical bar across the team.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, QA, and DevOps to deliver features end-to-end.
