Amgen seeks a Senior Scrum Master to lead the Customer & Campaign Readiness Product Team as an Agile coach and facilitator. The role focuses on enabling high-performing teams, driving SAFe adoption, and delivering business outcomes in a complex enterprise environment across distributed geographies.
Responsibilities
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including standups, planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
Coach teams on SAFe principles and mentor members on Agile best practices and servant leadership
Support SAFe events such as PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and Inspect & Adapt workshops
Remove impediments, identify risks and dependencies, and communicate progress to stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement through metrics, retrospectives, and data-driven decision-making
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, IT, or related field
8–12 years of experience in Agile delivery, team leadership, or IT project management
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) expertise and certification preferred
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Jira Align
Strong knowledge of Lean-Agile principles, flow metrics, and continuous improvement
Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience leading distributed teams across multiple time zones and geographies
