As a Senior Remedy Developer, you will play a key role in advancing and supporting complex BMC Remedy environments that underpin critical IT service management operations. This role is focused on building and maintaining robust Remedy capabilities, translating business needs into scalable technical solutions, and partnering closely with customer teams to improve system performance, usability, and long-term maturity.

Responsibilities

• Develop, administer, maintain, and integrate the BMC Remedy IT Service Management Suite, with a focus on ITSM and associated modules.
• Implement customer requirements and additional Remedy functionality.
• Create efficient workflows and modify ARS objects for enhancements and bug fixes.
• Maintain development, QA, and production environments.
• Configure foundation data, roles, permissions, and CMDB settings.
• Extend the CMDB to incorporate configuration items and relationships using the BMC Common Data Model.
• Design and implement custom integrations with applications such as Netcool, CRM, and provisioning software using web services or AIE.
• Diagnose and remediate complex Remedy ITSM Change and Service Management issues.
• Deploy BMC Remedy Asset Management and support IMAC processes.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs, including HLDs, LLDs, use cases, process documents, and process, data, and workflow models.
• Provide after-hours and weekend support as needed.

Requirements

Reference Skills

• Hands-on development and administration experience with BMC Remedy Helpdesk, Atrium CMDB, ITSM, ARS 8.x/9.x, and ITSM Suite SOAP/REST web services
• Experience with Smart IT and Smart Reporting
• Strong understanding of BMC Remedy architecture and its components
• Strong understanding of the BMC Atrium CMDB Common Data Model
• Strong understanding of ITSM and ITIL processes
• Experience designing custom integration architectures and integrating third-party components
• Experience working directly with customer ITSM teams
• Experience with the broader BMC Remedy ecosystem, including BMC ARS API, Email Engine, LDAP, SSO integrations, BMC Analytics, BMC Atrium Orchestrator, Atrium Integration Engine, and Atrium Integrator

Reference Qualification & Experience
